Zhenya, Yulia and Toni were excellent hosts and a source of detailed information about the area. The Hostel is a short 10 minutes walk (with backpacks) from the Main Irkutsk Train Station. The tram from the train station takes a few minutes to reach the centre of town which is across the river from the hostel.
The Hostel is well cared for and has a great kitchen for preparing your food, 11 people were gathered for a mighty potluck feast one evening.
Great location, great people.
On the downside for us was the lack of WIFI (soon to be added we were told) and as in all of Russia the price but such is the market at present.

Which came first, the polrbem or the solution? Luckily it doesn't matter.

its near to mainstation, anton and anastacia are really nice (your pancakes were the best i could imagine when i get there) and it has nice connection to the baikal (you just have to take the tram and a bus).

This hostel is located on the quiet side of Irkutsk. It is cozy, clean and - when we were there - quiet. The owner, Anton is very friendly and helpful. And also a good guide for walking in the surrounding of Baikal lake.
Thank you Anton for a wonderful stay.
